• We adopted our cat BE-BE from an animal shelter where she was slated to be put to rest. The veterinarian there said she appeared much older than she really was because she had licked all the fur from her legs and tail due to stress.   My veterinarian recommended that I put Brummel on a special diet for diabetic cats. He had measured her glucose level at 410. I did some research and discovered that cats are not vegetarians and should be fed wet foods that are all meat high protein, moderate fat and ultra low carbohydrate. After 2 weeks on By Nature Organic Turkey and Chicken, I took her back for a glucose check and her level was 88.5, so no insulin necessary!!!! My vet is going to start trying this on other diabetic cats. Thank you for the fine cat food.

  Bear, my Husky/German Sheppard mix, had his ninth birthday on Dec. 11th, 2008. He has developed skin allergies that make him very uncomfortable. His vet suggested I try a one protein only diet to help with the allergies.

  The local distributor of the By Nature Organic line gave me a sample bag of the Pork and Sweet Potatoes to try. Bear nearly took my fingers off once he got a taste!! I went back in on Monday to buy the largest bag they had! My parent’s dogs, Max and Maggie turned their nose up the first day but when offered a kibble the next day, they cried for more and ate all I gave them with relish.

  Bear has lost a good bit of weight in a month and a half. His groomer couldn’t believe it! He is still having some skin issues but they are much improved.

  Our Russian, Big Blue, has been diagnosed with kidney disease at the age of 15 years and Sammy the Siamese, has allergies. Our cats can’t tolerate wheat, corn or additives in their food. Our old cat food was causing Big Blue to vomit frequently and we were desperately looking for an organic cat food.

  After the first purchase of By Nature Organic canned food, specifically the chicken and turkey, our cats ran into the kitchen at every opportunity, even harassing us, expecting another snack. They are fed the canned food once daily and are never late.

  Big Blue rarely vomits the dry food and he is so much more active – his tail is held higher these days. Sammy’s allergies don’t seem as frequent and he still thinks lunch time is all the time. He coolly tries to stare us down with great patience saying “feed me now!”

  I just want to let you know that my dog LOVES your By Nature Turkey and Bacon! She is a good eater and loves her morning breakfast but she REALLY LOVES THIS FOOD.

  Now I know this sounds crazy....as they say dogs are color blind...but she takes one look at the can of the By Nature Turkey Bacon and goes nuts doing back flips!

  She will sit calmly while I open any other can of food. But if the can I have in my hand is the Turkey and Bacon, she starts to run in circles, bark and even goes through all of her routine of tricks until I can open it!   Lucy is a calico domestic short hair that I adopted when she was 4 months old. Her diarrhea was so bad the kitty litter really had its work cut out for it! This continued for 5 more months. The food the veterinarian recommended did not make a difference. I even started cooking for her but she only turned up her nose.

  By Nature Pet Food has ‘wowed’ my two Havanese dogs, Bolero (Bo) 2 1/2 years and the puppy, Samba (Sammie) 4 months.

  We originally purchased the Organic Chicken kibble for our new puppy Sammie only. Bo is a finicky eater. We had tried many dry food varieties with her but all to no avail; so we just fed her wet food. When we got Sammie we explored our dry food options again, finding your product. I really appreciate the excellent quality ingredients.

  The first time I brought the kibble home, the puppy ate it and Bo just watched. Suddenly Bo sniffed it and then began to eat enthusiastically. I couldn’t believe my eyes!

  Both dogs gobble up the Organic Chicken kibble. The puppy is thriving on it. Bo’s coat is improving and more than that, she now has the stamina to be the ‘nanny dog’ for our pup.

  In thirty-five plus years of breeding, showing and hunting the sporting and hound breeds, we have fed many brands of premium dog food here at Salmon Falls Kennel. Finally there is a formula that lives up to its claims.

  The By Nature line from Blue Seal is far and above the best food we have ever used. Within only a few months our dogs all experienced an increase in muscle mass, improved coat condition, firmer stools and an overall healthier appearance. The k-Calories in the Active Formula provides the energy needed to support our retrievers when they spend a long day in the field and it puts a shine on the coats of our show dogs that really captures the judge’s eye.

  Our lactating females are fed the Puppy Formula and they produce large volumes of milk. Their weaned puppies thrive when fed the Puppy Formula. The stress of pregnancy, whelping and nursing can really take a toll on a female. Our girls’ recuperation time has been reduced by half.

  My dog, Tyler, suffered with skin problems for many years. I tried various shampoos, vet visits, etc. and nothing seemed to help. A friend of mine bought me a bag of your By Nature dry kibble and over the next month or two I noticed a considerable improvement with his skin. After some research, I realized your product does not contain any gluten, something many dogs are allergic to. My vet never mentioned that this could be the problem; obviously an area where I believe pet owners could use some educating.

  I just wanted to write and say how great your By Nature Organic Dry Dog Food is. Max, my Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, is allergic to wheat, corn, and soy. He had dry flaky skin and his hair was thinning to the point that he was starting to have bald spots. After one week of eating your food, his hair started filling back in, his skin wasn’t as dry and his coat was nice and shiny. He loves the taste of the food, and our other two dogs, Ziggy and Elliot, do as well.

  Thank you for making a great quality dog food. Many people keep telling me to switch to a less expensive brands because they think I am wasting my money. I wouldn’t ever think of switching. Your food is the best dog food on the market in my opinion. However, Max is putting in a suggestion for a buttered popcorn flavored kibble!!!

  My 14 year old cat, Joseph, who is a diabetic, was overweight and lethargic. After reading about the benefits of raw meat diets for cats, I decided this might help his health. But finding organic meats and liver (great source of vitamins) was impossible. Then I found your organic canned food and decided to give it a try.

  Joseph loves it!! He eats every morsel, licks the bowl and cries for more! I do add some flaxseed and probiotics because he is a diabetic. The results of feeding him By Nature Organics are amazing and well worth the added expense. His fur is soft and shiny, and even though it is summer, he sheds very little now. Chronic eye infections have cleared up, his body is leaner, and he needs less insulin, too. Perhaps the most amazing benefit has been to his personality and huge increase of energy. He seems genuinely content, walking with me outside and playing again at night. I can tell that he is happy. Thank you for a product that has given my little companion his life back.

  I have an Australian Shepherd, Couver, who is now 13.5 years old – I got her when she was 5 from ARPH. I put her on a top–rated popular dry dog food, gave her lots of exercise and she did great – nice coat, bursting with energy, no health problems. Then last fall she slowed down markedly. I assumed it was natural aging. We used to walk eight miles/day, but that dwindled to 3–4 slow, short walks totaling about a mile/day. Couver, also, no longer chased the rabbits and squirrels that feast on our garden.

  Then came the pet food recalls. I began reading about better quality commercial foods. I was horrified. So I went looking for an organic dog food and came home with yours... By Nature Organic.

  Couver’s been on it just three months and what a difference!!!!! We are back up to walking 5 miles/day, she tears up and down the stairs, and the garden is once again well protected.

  I just wanted to write and say how happy I am with the By Nature Organics dry cat food. I switched from another brand because I was looking for a food with better ingredients. I was a little leery because the cost of the food was greater, but I’ve discovered that my cats eat far less of the By Nature Organics food than they did with the other brand, so it actually ends up saving me money. I'm hoping that one of my cats will lose weight on the food since she’s eating less, but so far that hasn’t happened. She’s a big girl, and has always been that way, so it may just take a little time.

• I have five rescue dogs. For years I have fed them a homemade, chemical–free, raw diet. Occasionally, I have tried a variety of high–quality, commercially–prepared canned and dry dog foods. However, not one of my dogs has ever responded well to them until I tried your product. After a month of feeding my dogs a steady diet of your product, their coats are softer and shinier. Not one of the pooches has had a problem and they seem to love it. I now feed my dogs 75% of your product and 25% raw diet.   Mimi’s Australian Shepherd

  I've been feeding By Nature Organics canned cat food to my three indoor cats for about six months. They do best on grain–free foods, thus my choice of canned over dry. I had previously been feeding Wellness canned Turkey and Salmon, an excellent brand that they loved. However, since making the switch to organic, their coats, which were excellent to begin with, have become even softer and glossier. They gobble up all of the flavors. My orange tabby’s tendency to get runny eyes has cleared up, and a small fatty tumor on my gray tabby’s chin has virtually disappeared. My Maine Coon mix hasn’t had any urinary flareups (he also gets a cranberry supplement). I’ve also recently been “adopted” by a feral kitty, who loves By Nature Organics dry food.

  I feed my dog, an Australian Shepherd rescue, a combination of raw and cooked organic foods, but supplement with By Nature Organics canned food when my schedule doesn’t allow enough time to prepare his homemade food. He loves it too.

  I recently adopted a 7–year old Dalmatian from a shelter where she had pneumonia and no appetite. She was losing weight and her skin was dry and flaky. As it turns out, Dalmatians need to be on a special diet to avoid health problems such as allergies, kidney and bladder stones, etc. I found out that she cannot have certain ingredients found in all other name brand pet foods.

  I finally found a store in my area that sells your By Nature Organics dog food. After 3–4 weeks of eating your product, which she seems to love by the way, her skin and coat look fantastic! I took her back to the shelter’s clinic for a check–up and many staff members and volunteers were quite impressed by the way she looked.
